Well, I made it to Violet. I actually made it here a couple of days ago, but when I showed up...well, Madoka's gone home.

[He's dealing with it okay, but he's obviously hit by it.]

Anyway, I'm getting prepped to take on the Gym here. I've gotten some tips from a buddy of mine, but if anybody's got anymore, I'd appreciate it.

I've never done this before, a big challenge kind of thing. I've got a Marowak, a Buneary, a Sylveon and a Growlithe, all at least level 30 that I'm thinking of using as my main team. And then I got a Chikorita and a Litleo that are a little under level 30, if I need'em. That sound good?

I'm gonna be here a while, so if anybody's in town and wants to hang out, lemme know.

Oh...so, where I come from, there's this guy who makes a ton of cartoons, and his name's Fleischer. And a bunch of'em have these giant round cute eyes.

Huh... So would Pokémon like Jigglypuff fall under the same umbrella? I guess they do sort of look like they'd fit in an old cartoon.

Whoah man, you're right. Jigglypuffs do look like something you'd see in one of those cartoons! Singing and dancing and everything.

Oh yeah? So were they musicals? 'cause in that case, you might as well throw in Clefairy, Smoochum, and Minccino. Maybe even Delcatty. Those guys are practically the poster children for overly cutesy fluffballs.

Yeah, a bunch of'em have music. Some of it's real crazy, too. Cab Calloway and stuff. But yeah, a bunch of Pokemon would fit right in!

...Okay, don't know who Cab Calloway is, but I bet this place has some Pokéfied version of it. I mean, I've been told half the books and movies are stories from other worlds with cheesy puns inserted into them. Like Omastar Wars.

Oh man, he's one of the coolest cats! Nobody scats like him. I'm not even a jazz guy, but man oh man, can that cat swing!

Yep. There's some books that I heard are puns, too. Rotom Sawyer, Shuckleberry Finn...

Haven't looked at all of 'em, but I guess I could do some digging. Sora's kinda a sucker for music, anyway.
