[Jimmy's looking a lot better than he did last time he was broadcasting. He's sitting on a couch, and it doesn't look like he's been hitting the sauce.]

So...how does a guy who's never had a real job get himself a real job?

I don't need nothing fancy, just something that pays at the end of the week, you know? I can haul boxes or sweep a floor, I know options aren't great for a guy with no education and no normal work experience.

[But he's not going to be some moocher, he's gonna pay rent and buy food and be able to get things fixed when they broke. All that kinda stuff a guy ought to do.]

But everybody's always telling me how that doesn't matter here, so I figure there's gotta be options!

It happens after. Late. And it looks like an accident, or in a couple of days someone's just...gone. Like they run off.

But it wasn't an accident or someone running off, it was Mordrake.

He was a man once. Mostly a man. He was born with a face on the back of his head. He was a rich noble guy, but 'cause of that...he ended up getting locked up. But he escaped and started working as a side show performer. Circuses and freak shows and the stage and stuff. He was real popular on Halloween.

But his face...it told him stuff. Bad stuff. He said it was really a demon. People thought he was crazy. One Halloween, he killed the whole circus and himself. Ever since then, any kind of big show like that, celebrating scary shit on Halloween....Mordrake comes. And the demon in his head picks someone to go to hell and join his show.

Hmmmm, I can see why you'd much rather stay indoors. It's a shame he wasn't born in Halloween Town. Our Mayor has a second face and while it isn't as cheerful as the other, it's never caused any trouble.

And I saw'im, too, when I thought my ma was full of shit and nothing would happen if we did a Halloween show.
