Hey, Merry Christmas, people that do the Christmas stuff. And thanks for the presents!

I'm just staying in at home with my buddy, but this is my first Christmas in a real house. It's...kinda cool.

We never really did much for the holiday, my ma'd make me a little something but impoverished traveling show folk don't really got much to spare.

I guess I'm just trying to say it's nice to have a real Christmas for once.

[Tobias has been cooking for... the past few hours at least, since he had to look stuff up. There's beef, not bird, because even though he's eaten birds before it still feels a little weird to him and also he doesn't want to upset the team. There's a blanket spread out for the Pokemon to eat their dinners, and a small plastic Christmas tree in the corner with presents under it.]

[Honestly it's the first time he's actually been in a house that he's felt safe and welcome in and he wanted to go all out by his standards.]

[But there's mashed potatoes and gravy and beef and rice and stuffing and some cooked veggies, along with pudding and a pie that he got from a store because no way is he going to make a first pie attempt on Christmas. There's also some Pokepuffs that claim to have 'real berry flavor!' but he's not sure about that, but considering how much Tiny the Meowstic has been trying to float them away all afternoon they seem like they're probably tasty enough for the group? He's never sure about Pokemon taste standards. But the table's set and the blanket's set too, and finally he changes into another set of clothes that doesn't have food spills on it and beams.]

Hey, smells great in here!

[Jimmy's not exaggerating. He'd eaten fine at the camp, back home, but it was all buffet style stuff, or whatever he threw together himself. Elsa was the only one ever got served.]

[This is his first real Christmas. He's gotten a couple of presents in the mail, touching stuff. And...weird. One of which he's actually got with him. Because it's not staying in his room, but he's got to put it up somewhere. If Tobias is okay with it. But first, he's gonna take in the spread his roommate's setting up.]

Thanks. I... thought I might as well try? It's the first time I've really done... Christmas like this...

[His aunt had made stuff before, but she'd always given him that look like he wasn't really welcome at the table, and his uncle never cared enough to make dinner. And last year... he was still getting used to things here and he hadn't really had a home.]
