I don't know your family, or this "Maggie", so I can't really give any advice that wouldn't sound completely hollow... but. As important as your family and your loved ones are, you also need to focus on just you sometimes. Not what other people want, or what you think other people would want...

But it can't be a sudden decision. Believe me, a lot of problems can be solved simply by talking, even if it seems pointless at first.
