"Hey, you know me! Same old same old. Trying to keep up with all my Pokemon, keeping up with the house, battling...." Jimmy shrugged amiably. Life had been nice and normal, just the way he likes it. Well, normal for here, anyway.
"Good's good, though!" And what he honestly believed everybody could have, here. Good stuff. Even if it was strange a lot of the time...
Walter nodded. "It's better than normal and not good. I don't know what to expect from a prom...have you been to one before?"
He lead the way inside, heading towards the formal clothing area...and then stopping, looking around uncertainly. He'd never owned a suit before. He just hadn't needed one.
"It's just a huge party, pretty much. It's not like an actual prom, other than everybody dressing up." Jimmy shrugged. "I'd never been to one before, either. But it ain't like you gotta know etiquette or any shit like that."
Thank god. Jimmy couldn't tell the difference between forks or folded napkins if his life depended on it.
"I haven't been to a party before either." He simply didn't know anything about this. The closest he could possibly relate it to was a few rare times he had attempted to go to a club, which had ended very sourly and often with Valtiel reminding him of how the world was.
"Traditional. A suit and tie? But, I don't know how to do a tie." He admitted sheepishly. "There's lots of different suits around here." Tuxedos, 'white tie', 'black tie', business...
Walter nodded and looked over the suits - he noticed that the shirts under were mostly white, except for a section that had more vibrant colours; and his eyes immediately fell on a beautiful, deep shade of red.
"Is this okay...?" He asked reaching out and gently taking the sleeve of the assemble that had caught his eye. "I like red. It's a warm colour." And Holy. But he knew Jimmy didn't care much for his religious beliefs and he didn't want to be questioned about it while out shopping.

"So you want something traditional?"

"Hey, no problem! I do, I'll tie it for ya! And yeah, there are. See anything you like? I bet you'd look nice in black or grey."
And those were entirely traditional suit colors.
